good but expensive.

This place was highly recommended by my accountant, who has many clients in TLG, so she knows they don't do funky financial stuff (unlike Forum). My mother stayed here from age 89-93, 2017-2021, in The Lodge. She had good care, and on the 2 occasions after a hospital stay, she was able to recuperate in a rehabilitation room just down the hall from her apartment. That was comforting. I did not like the people I dealt with before she lived here - the Marketing and Financial people, putting up surprise roadblocks at the last minute before she moved in. She paid about $[removed]/month, but no entrance fee. I want to thank [name removed], who helped me with the CNA LTCI paperwork. Unfortunately she abruptly quit in 2021 and the person replacing her didn't know what he was doing. But dealing with LTC insurance is hard, so I cannot blame him. I hope they rehired someone competent. Anyway they took care of my mother well, she was happy here.

I Would Recommend the Place

The place is nice. The staff are friendly and nice. My loved one is very happy here. Anytime there has been an issue they have addressed it very quickly. They are understaffed like everyone else currently. They are doing a good job at caring for my loved one. They are options for meals for the residents. The staff to staff communication could be improved.

A Sense of Comfort

Overall very well. The communication from the leadership to the family members is lacking. It would be nice to see more phone calls each week or every other week with status updates on our loved ones, or even an email. They had a trivia game going on and a singing game when I visited. I was very impressed with the fact they had age appropriate music for the residents.

Active and Supportive Community

After living in Bucks county for the past 20 years, I made the decision to seek a more supportive living environment. I am a social person and thankfully, in great health, so I wanted to find a community that had opportunities to be active, while at the same time I could feel supported and cared for. Not only does Spring Mill Pointe check those boxes, it is also situated in a truly beautiful setting, and is staffed by incredibly kind and friendly people. I moved to Spring Mill Pointe in February of 2020, so I was barely here for a month when COVID-19 changed all of our lives. It is such a comfort to know that I don’t have to worry about going to a grocery store or visiting a doctor’s office or even a hair salon. I am deeply grateful to have found a home where my comfort, and health are important to me. I am thankful full that no residents have contracted the virus. This is evident that Spring Mill Pointe is truly a safe place to live. At this stage in my life, I can’t imagine a better place to live than Spring Mill Pointe!

It's like they have space age technology available!

I toured here when looking for a place for my Mother-in-law. It’s a brand new facility and they were like space age, almost. If you wanted to know what’s going on with the menu or the activities, or if you wanted to know what the latest news around the community was, there’s a touch screen you can go through that’ll sow you everything. There’s even kayaking. It seems like the residents there are very active. I learned that in order to get in, you have to buy-in but you get 90% of that money back if you decide to leave. We had a really nice introduction, but it felt like they led us astray by not telling us that upfront. We went for our tour at the end of the meal, I think, so I couldn’t tell how wait staff was. The woman at the front desk was very nice and very cordial but we didn’t see anyone else other than the salesperson. They had a quilting room that we saw too. They really seemed like they were great, you just have to be careful because it is newer so they may have a few kinks to work out.

We love the park-like space and greenery at Westminster Gardens. We enjoyed the people we met and the food we were served there. The atmosphere was extremely casual and relaxing--like home. We would prefer to community that offered all levels of service. Westminster lacked a skilled nursing unit. They used the facility of another retirement community about a mile away. We want everything available in one place.

Treating My Father In Law Very Well

My father in law is doing pretty well here at this facility. They are taking very good care of him and his needs. The is facility is well maintained, they do a very good job of keeping everything nice and clean. All the staff has been great. They have been very helpful and accommodating. They Do A Lot Of Things Well

I think that they do a lot of things well, and the residents themselves are friendly and they made my mom feel welcomed. A couple things where they might fall short is that they have a friendly bus driver, but it's difficult for the residents because you have to let them know far, far in advance for like a five minute ride, so transportation could improve. Overall I think my mom is very happy.

Nice place, pleasant residences.

We toured this facility, and saw some of the activity areas, apartments, a cottage, the dining room and administrative area/library. The cottage was roomy and the apartment was adequate, with plenty of storage space. It had limited dining space, but everything was updated and really very nice. Washer and dryer in the residence. It was between meals so we did not have an opportunity to try the food. We did not see a lot of activity going on, but the resident we spoke with in the cottage said she's been living here for 10 - 15 years and loves it; would not want to live anywhere else. We did not see the assisted living area or the skilled nursing area, but they get good marks at Medicare.gov. I would want another tour, specifically in those areas.
